This past week, Gretchen and I went out for coffee and as we were walking in, (don’t hate me Gretchen!) I realized that “IT” has set in..her pregnant waddle. Oh how I know that waddle well, and how I completely and totally sympathize. But there’s good news! The waddle means that baby Kingsley #2 will soon be here!
And this, combined with some upcoming new Blog topics and designs, exciting new products coming to the Market, and the overall general craziness that happens when 2 young families (with oodles of kids) open a store and blog, means that we want to extend an invitation…
We’re looking for guest bloggers! Many of you read our blog and have written fantastic comments and emails about some of our topics, so I know you’re out there! It doesn’t matter if you are currently a blogger or not – we’re simply looking for quality articles written on the topic that we adore…
raising vintage kids in a modern world
We are looking for articles that ascribe to that mission, but that cover a wide range of specific topics. In particular, we’d love to see some articles on:
- simplicity/simple living
- Traditional Foods-based nutrition (but we’re stocked up on recipes, so only informative articles, please!)
- Large Family Management
- Natural/holistic health
- Frugal tips and tricks
That should be enough to get the wheels turning! Those are just a few suggestions, but the sky is the limit, we just ask that you send us only original never-before published posts that are between 600-900 words in length (although we would love to run a series as well!). Once your article has been submitted to us, we will respond to you within 3-5 days, letting you know if the article is being considered for publication, as well as the approximate posting date. We can not guarantee that all articles submitted will be published, but to increase your chance, email us with your proposed topic before you submit an article and we can let you know if it’s something that we might consider.
To submit an article:
please send your article as an MS Word document to: kelsi [at] cheekybumsmarket [dot] com. If you have a photo to attach we’d definitely appreciate it, but it’s not necessary.
Can’t wait to hear from you!
